It’s been a while since we updated the blog, but we’ve been really busy creating the new version of Mandarin Poster.
There’s now two brand new versions of the Simplified poster available:
First, we updated the list so it’s now more relevant to beginners, there’s also a few extra characters on there – 1546 in total now (we had to take 4 out to fit the logo in) so it’s jam packed!
We also adjusted the layout a bit, the Pinyin is now below the character – we wanted the Chinese to be priority and this way we can achieve that. The paper is also slightly lighter, so now it’s easier to hang – we actually had a lot of feedback from people who had trouble keeping the previous version on the wall!
Then we printed two versions – a version with just Pinyin, and a version with both Pinyin and English. The Chinese characters on the Pinyin only version are a bit bigger since we had more space to work with. For the poster with English we spent weeks and weeks working on the English definitions, painstakingly choosing the more relevant definitions that we could fit in, and we’re proud of the result.
Thanks to all our customers for their support over the last year, we’ve had a great time making the poster and hearing your feedback, here’s to another year!
